WORKING WITH MORPH

Good work starts with a clear agreement.

You do not need every answer before you speak to us. We do need to understand what you want to make or change, what is already in motion and who needs to approve the work. From there, we agree a scope that gives everyone something concrete to work against.

  1. 01 / Tell us the brief.

A first conversation helps establish the assignment, objectives, constraints and any immediate deadlines. Tell us what has already been decided and where you want our contribution.

If an NDA is appropriate, we discuss confidentiality before sensitive details are shared. Keep the first introduction general until those arrangements are in place.

  2. 02 / Put the scope in writing.

We agree the work, milestones, approvals and fees in writing before commencement. Your proposal identifies the deliverables, timetable, responsibilities and required inputs.

External media, creators, venues and other supplier costs are identified separately unless explicitly included. Advertising spend is ordinarily excluded and paid directly by the client, with any different arrangement documented in the scope.

  3. 03 / Agree commercial milestones.

An advance or scheduled payment milestone may be required to begin. Your written proposal confirms the amount, payment schedule and when the balance is due.

A 50% advance and 50% balance is a usual starting point for scoped website builds, with the balance before final launch or handover. Event productions, creator or supplier commitments, retainers and procurement arrangements can require different schedules. The schedule agreed for your project is the one that applies.

  4. 04 / Give the work a proper review.

A clear point of contact keeps decisions moving. We agree review checkpoints and ordinarily ask for consolidated feedback within 72 hours. We also allow at least 72 hours for Morph to review and process feedback; the scope and extent of changes determine the implementation timetable.

Included review rounds and revision boundaries are stated in the project scope. Additional rounds or material scope changes are assessed and quoted separately. Delayed inputs or fragmented feedback may affect the agreed schedule, so we discuss the impact when it arises.

  5. 05 / Deliver and hand over.

We agree which finished assets, files, permissions and usage rights belong in the handover. Client-supplied assets, data and domains remain the client's. The agreement identifies what is transferred or licensed, and when.

Morph's pre-existing tools, methodologies and reusable components remain subject to the agreed terms. Third-party materials retain their applicable licences. Final handover follows the project's payment and acceptance conditions.

Questions before we begin.

How are changes managed?

If priorities or deliverables change, we explain the effect on timing and cost before adding work. That gives you a clear decision about the proposed change.

Can we start with a single assignment?

Yes. Defined briefs and longer relationships are both possible. The Morph Cycle provides greater structure for assignments that need it; every project does not have to follow a 90-day engagement.

Can you work with our existing agency or suppliers?

Yes. We agree roles, points of contact, confidentiality and approvals before delivery. Any external costs and supplier responsibilities should be clear in the scope.

What if we need to cancel or pause?

Cancellation, notice periods, payment and refund arrangements follow the applicable agreement, including any committed supplier costs. Discuss a potential change as soon as it becomes clear so its effect can be assessed.

Does this page form our contract?

This is a practical guide. The approved proposal, scope and applicable agreement set the commitments for your engagement. Specific offerings, including Search Readiness, have their own scope and terms.

Give the brief a clear beginning.

Tell us what you want to achieve and the constraints around it. We will work through what needs to be agreed before the work starts.
